Things you need to know
Travel insurance:
This is NOT included in any motorcycle rental in the USA and Canada. You MUST have a suitable travel insurance policy that includes medical and repatriation cover should you be unfortunate enough to have an accident on a large capacity motorcycle. Nearly all widely available travel insurance policies in the UK EXCLUDE cover while riding a large capacity motorcycle. We can of course help and have our own travel insurance policy underwritten specifically for our customers: www.bikerstravelinsurance.co.uk.Model guarantee
If you absolutely must have the model you have chosen, for reasons of size, seat height, passenger comfort, luggage, etc. then you need to take the motorcycle model guarantee insurance. This guarantees you the model you have booked.Because of the large flow of motorcycles in the rental fleet, and the risks of accident damage or breakdown, it is not always possible to provide every rider with the motorcycle of their choice. When bikes are allocated at pick up, all customers who have taken the model guarantee insurance will be allocated their bikes first. If you don’t take out the guarantee, then if, and only if, there is a problem we will either provide you with your second-choice model, or if you haven’t given us your second choice, the closest model available.
The guarantee price can be found in the ‘Optional Extras and Motorcycle Insurance’ section. This price may vary if your motorcycle hire is part of a tour itinerary.
