Because New Zealand offers such a choice of scenery, riding conditions and distractions, our fly-ride programme offers an unbeatable range of motorcycles to suit all riders. If you like the freedom to go as you please then this is the option for you, all at the best possible price. We’ve just done all your hard work for you! The same motorcycles are also available for our tours – see the tours section.
Harley-Davidson rentals are also available in Coromandel (Waihi), Wellington and Queenstown.
Orange & Black can also arrange flights, travel insurance and accommodation – pre-and post-tour – to allow you time to recover from or wait for international flights. Just ask for a quote to include any or all of these options.

CDR is optional at the daily price shown per day. You can only pay for this in New Zealand when you pick up your motorcycle.

Rentals Include:
- Full (comprehensive) motorcycle insurance including 3rd party liability and damage/loss (excess NZ$2500-$3750)
- Unlimited km for rentals of 6 days and over, 350 kms/day for shorter rentals
- 15% GST (General Sales Tax)
- Panniers (usually 36 l Givi)
- 24-hr support service
- Country information, maps and route suggestions
- Luggage storage
Self-guided Tours Also Include (worth over £150):
- Personal detailed tourbook
- Topbox, or passenger backrest if no topbox can be fitted

- Topbox: £2/day up to a maximum of £30 (except Honda VT750). Size options available, please ask

- Riding gear: £2/day. Helmet, gloves, trousers, waterproofs and jacket (must be requested at time of booking). We strongly recommend you take all of your own riding gear for comfort and safety.
- CDR: excess reduction insurance, to pay in New Zealand (see rates table)
- Luggage transfer: To drop-off location for one-way rentals, fee to pay locally (approx. £60 per bag). Please request when booking
- GPS: Tom Tom Rider 400/450 model £5/day (max £80/ rental). NZ$400 security deposit payable locally (credit card). Universal handlebar mounts also available on request.
- Your own GPS: Your own GPS (including your wiring and mounts) fitted to the bike – one-off charge approx. £27 (pay locally)
- Puncture Repair/Tyre Inflation Kit and Cable Lock: £11 per rental
- Seat Lowering: Lowered seats available on BMW models £55. Lowering links on Tiger 900 £30 – please request at time of booking.
Security Deposit: NZ$2000-$3750 credit card swipe only.
Restrictions: Beaches, riverbeds and private tracks are not permitted; gravel roads, to visit scenic areas or lunch spots, only allowed for experienced riders on dualsport motorcycles (except where required to access accommodation booked by Orange & Black).
