    Day 3

    Chiang Khong – Pua

    290 kms

We follow the mighty Mekong river north to one of the most beautiful areas of Thailand, still bordering Laos, Phu Chi-Fa National Park and mountain. The winding roads and scenery take us on to Bua and the Oopkaew Resort for this evening.

    Day 4

    Pua – Nan

    270 kms

We set out on more breathtaking roads to Huai Kon Border Point (with Laos), where we’ll visit an unspoilt border market void of tourist trappings. We then ride to Bo Kluea, where we’ll see salt extraction in operation. Bo Kluea Salt is one of only a few rock salt mines in the world that is over 800 years old. We end the day on a great biking road to Nan, in time for a massage or dip in the pool to relax at the Villa De Bua Resort.

    Day 5

    Nan – Na Noi

    245 kms

Another day on the kinds of road you dream of – little traffic, and a silence that sucks you into the landscape. We cross through the border region with Laos, over mountain roads to Sri Nan National Park, with it’s unusual rock formations. Our final short ride brings us to Na Noi and the Nanoi Resort.

    Day 6

    Na Noi – Sukhothai

    245 kms

Our morning ride brings us to Sirikit Reservoir, the largest in Thailand, covering over 250 square kilometers. Here we’ll find local fisherman and their houses on stilts. Then today’s high point, as we cross the reservoir by ferry before our final ride into Sukhothai where we’ll spend the night at the Ruean Thai Hotel.

    Day 7

    Sukhothai – Mae Sot

    250 kms

    Day 8

    Mae Sot – Mae Sariang

    250 kms

Before we set off today, we’ll visit the Myanmar border market. We’ll follow the Nam Yuam River, where you’ll find this is the border with Myanmar. We arrive at our riverfront hotel – Riverhouse Hotel – early in the afternoon, giving you plenty of time for a massage or swim.

    Day 9

    Mae Sariang – Chiang Mai

    250 kms

Our final ride day! The route takes you through more beautiful scenery, again with waterfalls and hot springs. On arriving back in Chiang Mai, we’ll return our bikes before settling in for the evening at the Vieng Mandra Hotel, to relive our adventures before heading home tomorrow.
