  • Vibrant Vancouver
  • Sea to Sky Highway
  • The High Sierra
  • Glacier National Park
  • Kootenay Lake
  • Cascade Mountains

  • Day 1: Arrive Vancouver

We will transfer you by private taxi to our tour hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the city highlights.

  • Day 2: Vancouver – Cache Creek (350km).

After breakfast you collect your motorcycle and the adventure starts. Head for the Capilano Suspension Bridge on the North Shore. Then ride the famous ‘Sea to Sky’ highway to the alpine resort of Whistler. The quiet Duffey Lake Road leads across the scenic Coastal Mountains to the warm and dry high sierra. Lillooet is a small native community set on the banks of the Fraser River and an interesting place to stop before you reach your overnight stay in Cache Creek.

  • Day 3: Cache Creek – Revelstoke (300 - 440km).

The Trans-Canada Highway gives you two riding options into the BC interior, east along the South Thompson Valley or south to the scenic ‘cowboy country’ of the Nicola Valley and the vineyards of the Okanagan. Both routes take you to Kamloops, a large regional centre with an interesting native museum. We love the quieter highways that take you away from the traffic along quieter valleys and lakes. Then ride along Shushwap Lake into the rugged Monashee Mountains, where the friendly town of Revelstoke awaits.

  • Day 4: Revelstoke (50km).

Free day. Start with a scenic 26-km hairpin ride to the top of Mt Revelstoke National Park, and explore the glaciers, mountain roads and cedar forests of Glacier National Park. You can also go canoeing, hiking or flightseeing.

  • Day 5: Revelstoke - Cranbrook (395km).

Without a doubt the best day's riding. High mountain passes, the many lakes of the ‘Kootenays’, Glacier National Park, the historic town of Golden, the hot springs at Radium and the mighty Columbia River, and perhaps visit the restored 1890s pioneer town of Fort Steel, before you reach Cranbrook, also home to the Canadian Railways Museum.

  • Day 6: Cranbrook – Rossland (240 - 325km).

There’s time to take a look around Cranbrook before heading west. A choice of routes offer a ride through the Selkirk Mountains to the lovely lakeside town of Nelson or a twisty, scenic ride, along the Kootenay Lake to Kootenay Bay, where a 45 minute ferry crossing brings you on perhaps a quieter and more scenic route to Nelson. Nelson is popular with artists and has a rich gold-mining history or, of course, you can just enjoy a shorter relaxing ride to Rossland, the highest town in Canada.

  • Day 7: Rossland – Princeton (340 km).

Follow the old trade route, the Dewdney Trail. A steep descent down Anarchist Mountain (no we don’t make up these names!) brings you to Osoyoos, the warmest spot in Canada. From here the road winds along the Similkameen River and deep into the forested Cascade Mountains. Keremeos is a centre for horse breeding and Princeton offers a glimpse into the history of Southern BC with no less than 6 Ghost Towns in the area.

  • Day 8: Princeton – Vancouver (285km).

Travel through the Cascade Provincial Park before visiting Hope, where Stallone's hit First Blood was filmed. See the historic Othello Tunnels and Fort Langley, or just ride on down the Fraser Valley to Vancouver to return your motorcycle this afternoon. In time for your return flight home this evening. Or maybe stay a while in beautiful Vancouver Total distance c. 1960 km
